Additional Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Muhammad Ramzan was recovered after payment of ransom here on Sunday. It should be mentioned that unknown miscreants had abducted Additional Secretary KP Muhammad Ramzan from Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi some two months earlier.

The kidnappers had demanded Rs 20 million for the release of the official but his brother after negotiation with the abductors paid Rs 7.5 million following which he was set free.

Earlier, the police and provincial authorities had made tall claims to recover the additional secretary but they failed to trace the kidnappers.
